Gasket Sealant GS#1 sets to a hard non-flexible gasket. It is recommended for permanent rigid assemblies. Gasket Sealant GS#2 sets to a semi-flexible gasket. It reliably seals gaskets, flanges, connections and other flexible assemblies.
Gasket Sealant GS#3 dries to a thin flexible film It is particularly recommended for paper and cork gasket applications. Gasket Sealant GS#5 Weather-Strip Adhesive is suitable for all types of weather-stripping applications, and general purpose bonding.

Gasket Sealant #1 is a thick, dark brown paste. This product emits an alcohol odor. Gasket Sealant #1 sets to a hard non-flexible gasket upon solvent evaporation. It is recommended for permanent, rigid assemblies. Gasket Sealant #1 reliably seals, gaskets, flanges, connections and other non flexible assemblies. It resists gasoline, motor oil, diesel fuel, transmission fluid, antifreeze and water. This product performs to 400ºF (205ºC).

Gasket Sealant #3 is a liquid sealant. This product emits an alcohol odor. Gasket Sealant #3 dries to a flexible film that seals gaskets connections and other flexible assemblies. Gasket Sealant #3 is particularly recommended for paper and cork gasket applications. It resists gasoline, motor oil, diesel fuel, transmission fluid, antifreeze and water. This product performs to 400ºF (205ºC).

General Information
GS #5 Weather-Strip Adhesive is a viscous liquid contact cement suitable for all types of weather-stripping applications and general purpose bonding. GS#5 is suitable for bonding porous and non-porous surfaces. GS#5 can be used to bond rubber, metal, wood, ceramics, gasketing materials, cork, etc. It provides a waterproof bond that in most cases will be sufficiently strong to hold bonded surfaces immediately after application. Full strength will be obtained after 24 hours.
